Man, you need to go to more cons.

This same discussion went on here a while ago (it goes on for most of the page). Basically, the color difference/fold at the hemline/etc. could all be much more easily explained by the fact that she is wearing waist-high pantyhose. Also, those look like genuine cellulite divots to me, which would difficult and pointless to simulate.

I'm not saying I couldn't be convinced that it's fake, but I see no reason to assume so without some sort of corroborating evidence.

If you look at any of her other cosplay photos... unless she's wearing the same prosthetic lower half in every single picture... then yes, it's real.  Besides, as Jeff paraphrasingly mentioned (but he really didn't because he never looked), she'd have to be crazy to put detail into actual skin imperfections.

I've been wanting to make a HEV suit for the longest time. I've done research into how to make one, and it looks like the easiest way to get a decent one is to use the same tools that the cosplayers in the 501'st use for their stormtrooper armor. Only never call them cosplayers to their face, they seem to think they're 'serious'.  


On the plus side, now that I'm loosing weight again, it won't be long before I look like Freeman again. All I'd need are the nerd glasses and the right haircut... Once I loose the fat from my face. Man that changes your shape.

I reaaaaalllyyyyyyy wanted to do that this year but didnt lose my target goal weight by january.
It'd be such a fun costume to make.

I also spoke with some people via Facebook and it seems there are still going to be many TF2 cosplays this year :D
I doubt I'll bring mine again, unless the Engi update happens beforethe end of April. Otherwise I'll just be bringing the madcat.
